Anchor 2: Let’s get a check on the weather. It was 27 degrees this morning. It will be mostly sunny today, and we should reach a high of 42 degrees. Here is the weather for the remainder of the week.
Now for the Sports Report
It will be a NFL weekend. Saturday night at 8 pm on Fox TV will be the NFL Awards Ceremony. How many Ravens do you think will be receiving awards? Then Sunday evening at 6:30 pm will be the Super Bowl. Enjoy!

Anchor 1 Do you want to play spring sports? Then plan to meet in our gym right after school on Thursday, February 6th.
Anchor 2 To celebrate Black History month each homeroom will be competing in a door decorating contest. Homerooms, please decorate your doors by February 21 ! Student council will be voting on their top 3 favorite doors. You will have the opportunity to vote for your favorite door amongst the 3 chosen. The winning homeroom will receive a free breakfast from Ms. Adams!
Anchor 1 Got a new HOOT card? Come to school, show your owl PRIDE and work hard to receive HOOTs for next month’s Valentine’s Incentive. You will need 20 HOOTs to participate in the Valentine’s Dance during MOD 10. You may begin signing up for the dance on February 7th during your lunches. Your chance to sign-up will end on February 11th, no exceptions! So start earning those HOOTs!
Anchor 2 Do you love to dance? Do you love to have fun? There’s henna, music, and snacks, what’s better than that?! Then join us after school on Thursday February 13th for the Valentine’s Dance. You MUST bring in a signed permission slip to Ms. Mensh or Ms. Hebron. The permission slips will be located in the front office, in Ms. Mensh’s room 214 or with Ms. Hebron. Be quick, only the first 50 students are able to stay for the Valentine’s Dance!
