Ms. Rosencrans: (Words of Wisdom) Good morning, Dundalk Middle School. This is (name of narrator) with a few words of wisdom. Do you ever get tired of adults controlling your life? Well, here’s some good news: the more you take charge of your life, the less others need to take charge for you. In other words, when you prove that you can make responsible choices, others won’t need to make so many choices for you. If you prove you can be trusted to complete your homework, a parent may not feel the need to tell you when and how to do that homework. So, here’s the deal: every time you act responsibly, you earn more trust, and with that trust usually comes more freedom to choose. James Allen once wrote that ‘A man sooner or later discovers that he is the director of his life.’ So be an award-winning director and start turning your life into a real blockbuster by proving to others that you can make trustworthy and responsible choices. With something to think about, this is (name of narrator). Make it a great day . . . or not. The choice is yours.

Ms. Rosencrans: See you again on Tuesday.
