Ms. Rosencrans: Please be seated.

Ms. Rosencrans: Let’s get a check on the weather. The next four days will have highs in the 80s. We will start today off with some possible thunderstorms. Then the next three days will be mostly sunny, and on Monday we have a 70% chance of rain.

Ms. Rosencrans: Now for the sports report – The 2020 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft took place yesterday and will continue today. Ms. Rosencrans: We wish David Quartey and Scott Helmick happy birthday today.

Ms. Rosencrans: Our jokes for today are Why is a fish easy to weigh? … Because it has its own scales.   Why did the chicken cross the road? … To show everyone he wasn’t chicken. Bet you thought I was going to say to get to the other side.

Mrs. Gibson: (Words of Wisdom) Good morning, Dundalk Middle School. This is (name of narrator) with a few words of wisdom. When you were little, did you ever run just for the sake of running? Not to win a race, but just to run, to let your feet fly, to pump your arms and legs and breathe hard? It felt good, didn’t it? That’s really what athletics is all about. It’s not just about winning or about being the best, it’s about getting into action … challenging yourself. And yes, it’s fun to compete and win trophies and ribbons, but feeling a sense of accomplishment and purpose is really more important. This summer, get your body moving! Keep active! Get out and run just for the sake of running. And remember this Bulgarian wisdom: ‘From walking – something. From sitting – nothing.’ Nothing good is going to come from just sitting around all summer and doing nothing. Get out. Walk and jog and swim and run and do something … just for the fun of it.  With something to think about, this is (name of narrator). Make it a great day . . . or not. The choice is yours.

Mrs. Gibson: See you again on Tuesday.
