DID YOU KNOW ... Students can check out eBooks or place up to 2 physical books on HOLD in the DESTINY Library Catalog! Students should WAIT for a Schoology Message from Ms. Ray that their library books are ready for pick up. Library books may be picked up from the front office at school on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday between 8 am - 3 pm.

Mission Statement
The mission of our Library program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information through resources in a variety of formats; provide opportunities to attain and master skills necessary for effective and ethical use of these resources; and promote reading and lifelong learning.
Vision
The DMS Library Media program aspires to empower all students to excel and reach their maximum potential. The library media program adds a dimension of rigor to the curriculum and encourages students to become participatory learners. Through collaboration, the school library media specialist partners with the DMS learning community to maintain a diverse physical and virtual collection of resources that support and enrich learning and literacy to empower students to become critical thinkers, problem solvers, readers, and responsible digital and global citizens.
